Urbino, is about 70 kms from The Nettuno** Hotel and it is probably the most famous city of the Marches in the world. Here it was born one of the greatest Italian painters, Raffaello Sanzio and it has been center of one of the most complete and refined civilizations of the Renaissance. Recanati (about 70 kms from the hotel) lives in the memory of Giacomo Leopardi that was born here and where it is possible to visit: Leopardi palace, native house of the poet, the Hill of the Infinite, celebrated in the homonymous poem, where Giacomo walked, arriving directly from the garden of his house, the Little square of "Saturday of the Village" and the "House of Silvia".
